#03 Porcelain beaker cup

Each midnight garden series cup is unique. It is handmade using a slipcast method and is then handcarved and handpainted, glazed with a clear glaze and black glaze with a third firing of real gold lustre highlights. It is made with Southern Ice porcelain and fired to a high temperature to give a translucency to the cup when held up to the light. The subject matter captures a childlike innocence. It is not microwave or dishwasher safe and should be hand washed.
