# 02 Porcelain midnight garden beaker cup

The Midnight Garden series speaks of the magic and innocence of childhood and being at one with nature. The cup is unique, whimsical and playful. It is handmade using a slipcast technique with Southern Ice Porcelain which is fired to a high temperature to give a translucency to the cup when held up to the light. It is hand carved and handpainted, glazed with a clear glaze and a black satin glaze and gold lustre is applied in the third firing. It is not microwave or dishwasher safe and should be hand washed.
