#17 Porcelain Midnight Garden Handled Cup

The Midnight Garden series speaks of the magic and innocence of childhood and being at one in nature. The cup is unique, whimsical and playful. It is hand made using a slipcast technique with Southern Ice Porcelain which is fired to a high temperature to give a translucency to the cup when held up to the light. It is hand carved and handpainted, glazed with a clear glaze and a black satin glaze and real gold lustre is applied in the final third firing. It is not microwave or dishwasher safe and should be hand washed.
